The festival will be held on Saturday, June 20th beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Horner Park located at 2741 W Montrose.

“Horner Fest will be a great way for families in our communities to have some fun on a summer weekend,” Andrade said. “I invite residents of the district to come by for some of the activities and entertainment that will be offered at this year’s festival.”

From 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. there will be activities and games for families including face-painting, a scavenger hunt, an inflatable moonwalk, beanbag toss, tug-of-war, volleyball, and a pizza eating contest. In the evening, starting at 7:00 p.m. the Salsa Chicago Mambo All-Stars will be performing. The day will conclude with a movie in the park, “When the Game Stood Tall,” beginning at 9:00 p.m.
